As Mother Earth rests in a peaceful slumber, we sometimes need to remind ourselves in our hustle bustle, to slow down and appreciate her unique beauty this time of year. Although the days are shorter, and more time is spent inside, pay attention to the moon as it waxes and wanes. Sometimes it even makes a surprise appearance after sunrise. As the sun sinks below the horizon, notice the warm, rich colors from God's paint brush as it makes a glowing backdrop for the long graceful branches of the oak and maple trees' cool, dark silhouettes.
Remember that art can be a most personal and unique gift to give. It is something that not only makes a lasting impression, but can be cherished for a lifetime.
